Dinner 4 Two

“Dinner for Two” serves up a hot plate of honest advice for readers, introducing (or re-introducing) them to simple ideas, such as manners, etiquette, and friendship. It provides stories and pieces of advice on the topic of friendship.

This publication is set around the idea of dining, with the text and imagery carefully curated to illustrate the idea of friendship through the lens of the kitchen and dinner table. Classic tales, such as “The Two Pots” and “The Fox and the Crane,” are taken from the Aesop’s Fables archive, offering different ways of looking at the idea of friendship.

This publication also describes the idea that the way you act at the dinner table is a reflection of your character. Looking at table etiquette and manners, this idea is supported by excerpts from “Miss Manners Guide To Excruciatingly Correct Behavior,” written by Judith Martin, originally published in 1982.
